3.3 $E Token Use Cases
$E tokens have multiple use cases in the Enclave ecosystem, forming a complete value cycle:
3.3.1 Paying Gas Fees
- Zero-Knowledge Proof Generation: When requesters use the Enclave Privacy system, they need to pay $E tokens as Gas fees
- Service Costs: Gas fees are used to cover the costs of nodes providing zero-knowledge proof generation services
- Direct Payment: Fees are directly paid to nodes providing proof generation services
- Dynamic Pricing: Fees are determined based on proof type and complexity
- Difference from Traditional Blockchains: Enclave uses $E tokens as Gas fees, rather than native chain tokens (such as BNB), creating token use cases and value cycles
3.3.2 Node Staking
- NFT Locking: Each node NFT needs to lock 2,000 $E
- Network Security: The staking mechanism ensures the security and stability of the node network
- Total Locked Amount: Up to 10,000,000 $E (5,000 NFTs × 2,000 $E)
- Lock-up and Unlock: After a 1-year lock-up period, linear unlock over 32 months
3.3.3 Governance Participation
- Voting Rights: Token holders can use $E tokens to participate in community governance voting
- Proposal Submission: Users holding sufficient tokens can submit governance proposals
- Decision Participation: Participate in decisions such as network parameter adjustments and feature upgrades
3.3.4 Liquidity Provision
- DEX Liquidity: Provide liquidity on decentralized exchanges
- Trading Pairs: Form trading pairs with other tokens (such as USDT, BNB)
- Liquidity Incentives: Liquidity providers can receive a share of trading fees
3.3.5 Ecosystem Incentives
- Developer Rewards: Ecosystem fund uses $E tokens to incentivize developers
- Community Activities: Community activities and promotions use $E tokens as rewards
- Partners: Strategic partners receive $E token support
3.3.6 Value Storage
- Scarcity: Reduce supply through burning mechanisms, increasing scarcity
- Demand-Driven: Scenarios such as node staking and Gas fee payments create sustained demand
- Long-term Value: As the ecosystem develops, token value is expected to increase
